Wow! What a great story! It touched home for me. Being an alcoholic in recovery I can relate to everything she is feeling......the feelings of worthlessness and guilt. The author did an excellent job of describing exactly what she was going through. It's almost like he was inside my head , reading my own thoughts! I love how she found peace within herself through God. It's a great reminder that God will bring you peace.....you just need to listen.

An engaging short story that deals with difficult issues without becoming trite or formulaic. I can see this being an ideal book-club pick to spur thoughtful conversation and debate regarding disappointment, God and forgiveness.
